NEW INFORMATION-
Hemlock Youth Basketball- 5th and 6th grade boys and girls. Sign-up sheets are in the office.
Volunteers Needed-Mrs. Otter is looking for volunteers to serve Thanksgiving dinner on November 10. Volunteers will be helping with set up right after school (½ day) and will have to stay long enough to help clean up. There is a sign-up sheet in the office.
Student Council- there is a meeting tomorrow at 7:40, make sure you are on-time!
IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES-
Peer to Peer- There is a meeting today during lunch in room 19
Picture Retake Day- today
November 2- MS girls basketball & MS wrestling parent/athlete meeting. The meeting will start at 6:15 in the middle school cafeteria.
November 3rd- is the end of the first marking period.
NJHS MEETING- there will be a meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Pedelty’s room. Please bring your lunch and your Chromebook.
SPORTS/CLUBS-
Pom pon- Practices will be Monday (10/30), Wednesday (11/1), Thursday (11/2), and tryouts on Friday (11/3) from 3:00-5:00 practices and tryouts will be held at Ling Elementary’s gym. You MUST wear tennis shoes & appropriate attire.
Girls Basketball- 7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball practice starts tomorrow. 7th grade practice is 3-4:30, 8th grade practice will be 4:30-6:00.
Spelling Club-Would you like to join the Spelling Club??? There is a sign-up sheet in the office. This is for students in 5th-8th grades.
Wrestling-Practices are being held Monday-Friday 3-4:30 in the mat room at the high school, this is for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. The season is over before basketball begins.
GENERAL INFORMATION-
Bbbrrr- Make sure you are dressing according to the temperature outside. You will be outside in the morning and during lunch as long as it’s not raining and is above 32 degrees.
Trail of Terrors- October 27, and 28. Twin Bridges Golf Course (Merrill) 7-11p.m. The cost is $5.00.
Yearbooks- Order forms are located in the office. You can order your yearbook by filling out an order form and dropping it off in the office, or they can be ordered on-line.
Youth basketball-sports booster will have a table set up in our lobby November 8 and November 21 from 5:30-6:30 to take sign-ups for youth basketball. This is for Pre-k thru 6th grade. The cost is $40.00 per child. You can also register online at http://www.hemlockyouthsports.com/ starting November 1.
