Young 5 teacher Karrah Aldrich and 2nd grade teacher Teryn Bohn

The month of August is a busy and exciting time as our schools prepare for the start of another successful year.  This was especially true this year as Hemlock Public School District continued to experience an increase in enrollment. Keeping class sizes lower at the elementary level is a top priority.  As a result, two new teachers were hired to join the Huskie pack.  These teachers include Karrah Aldrich (Young Fives) and Teryn Bohn (2nd grade).

Principal Lori Gensch said, “Our two new hires are both energetic and passionate about teaching and will ignite a love of learning in their students.  They will be an asset to our school and the students they serve for many years to come.”

The new hires are just as excited to be a part of Hemlock Public Schools as the district is to have them.

“I can’t wait to begin the school year here at Hemlock Elementary!  Teaching is so rewarding, and I can’t wait to get started,” shared Karrah Aldrich.

“I am so excited to join the Hemlock team!  A lot of my friends and family are already Huskies, so it feels good to finally become a part of this wonderful community,” stated Teryn Bohn.

Principal Gensch is optimistic about the future of Hemlock & K.C. Ling Elementary saying, “I couldn’t be more proud of the staff we have in place for the upcoming school year.  They are ambitious and dedicated to the success of our littlest Huskies.  With the addition of our new hires, the future is looking even brighter.”
