Seniors Awarded

The Hemlock High School class of 2018 commencement will be held on Sunday, June 3.  The class is comprised of 86 graduates. Many of the senior class were honored on May 3, 2018, in our annual Awards Ceremony.  Scholarships were presented in excess of 1.1 million dollars through universities, colleges, trade schools, and various local, state, and national organizations.

Superintendent Don Killingbeck said, “This is just one of many reasons that families are choosing Hemlock, excellent academics and co-curricular that lead to wonderful post-secondary opportunities for their children.”

Of the 2018 graduating students, approximately 88 percent plan to attend a 2 or 4-year college next year, 6 percent plan to attend technical or trade school, and 6 percent intend to join the military or enter the workforce.  Two, of the graduating, are foreign exchange student from Germany and Japan.

High School Principal Green shared, "The 2018 seniors will truly be missed at Hemlock High School. Their dedication to their education and to their community is shown in the generous amount of scholarship money that they have received. I wish them the best of luck in all of their future endeavors."
