Hello Friends:

It was great to connecting with members of our community during our series of sinking fund informational meetings.

We know that not everyone cannot make it to our informational meetings regarding the Hemlock Public School District sinking fund ballot initiative.  So we have a website, www.hemlocksinkingfund.org  that contains a lot of the information for anyone hoping to learn more and have created a series of short videos of the highlighting some of the needs around the district.

Here is the video for the Hemlock ElementaryK.C. Ling ElementaryMiddle School, and High School.

We continue to hear feedback with from community member saying things like, "this seems like a reasonable ask."

When people see the difference between the mills levied in Hemlock and compare it with our neighboring school districts they understand even more why this is being brought before voters.

  • Hemlock .......... 3.64 mills
  • Merrill ............... 7.83 mills
  • St. Charles ....... 4.50 mills
  • Swan Valley ...... 7.00 mills

Please take a look at the website and let us know if you have any questions (989) 642-5282 or killingbeck@hemlockps.com

Go Huskies, Don Killingbeck, Superintendent

P.S.

We will continue to add content to the website, but here are some additional short videos that help explain some of the needs.
